Vanessa Morin is a singer and private music instructor from Bergen County, NJ. She is a classically trained soprano who grew up singing pop and liturgical music. Vanessa began singing in the church choir at 6 and started playing piano at 9. Her most esteemed performances have occurred in venues such as Carnegie Hall, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Richardson Auditorium in Princeton, the Mayo Performing Arts Center, and the Opera Theatre of the Rockies in Colorado. Vanessa received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University and is currently working towards her Master of Arts in Music Education.
From an early age, Vanessa’s love for performing and sharing the gift of music was undeniable. However, in the midst of her performance career, she realized her passion for teaching and guiding aspiring musicians. She began teaching private voice and piano lessons in 2019 to students ages 5+. A personal objective she embraces is to conduct each lesson with patience and understanding, fostering an environment where students are encouraged to work towards unlocking their full potential. Sharing her love for music while encouraging others to pursue their dreams with perseverance has become one of Vanessa’s greatest life missions.
